rld.
As we enter 2026, I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of the World
Stomatological Organization (WSO), to extend my sincere appreciation to each
of you for your trust, commitment, and continued support. Your collective de
dication is the foundation upon which WSO stands and grows.

WSO Progress: From Network to Global Platform
Over the past year, WSO has continued its transformation from a professional
network into a structured global platform that connects education, clinical exc
ellence, industry, policy dialogue, and international collaboration.
Key areas of progress include:
– Strengthening governance and transparency to better serve our Fellows
– Expanding international academic and institutional partnerships across ASEA
N, China, the Middle East, Europe, and Central Asia
– Advancing WSO’s role as a neutral, professional bridge between clinicians, ac
ademia, industry, and policymakers
– Deepening collaboration with universities, professional bodies, and global sta
keholders in oral health
These efforts are guided by a single principle:
WSO exists to serve its Fellows and to advance global oral health responsibly a
nd sustainably.

World Oral Health Economics Forum (WOHEF)
One of our key initiatives in 2026 is the World Oral Health Economics Forum, a
n important milestone in WSO’s evolution.
The Forum is designed to:
– Examine oral health from an economic, policy, and sustainability perspective
– Bring together clinicians, economists, industry leaders, academics, and policy
makers
– Address issues such as access to care, workforce sustainability, innovation, tra
de, and health economics
– Position oral health as an essential component of national and global health
systems
This Forum reflects our belief that oral health is not only a clinical issue, but als
o a social, economic, and developmental priority.
Further details on the Forum, including participation opportunities for Fellows,
will be shared in due course.
