A one-time conferment fee is applicable upon nomination or selection to receive a formal WSO fellowship title.

WSO Fellow Conferment Fee

The WSO Fellow designation is awarded to mid- and senior-level professionals who have made notable contributions to clinical practice, education, research, or healthcare leadership.

$400 USD

Conferment fee covers:

  • Official WSO Fellowship Certificate
  • WSO Sash and Fellow (FWSO) Lapel Pin
  • Listing in the WSO Global Fellowship Registry
  • Eligibility for WSO speaking appointments, leadership roles, and governance
  • Priority invitations to participate in WSO's global symposia, forums, and advisory panels

Prodigy Fellow Conferment Fee

The WSO Prodigy Fellow title recognizes outstanding young professionals (typically under the age of 35) who have demonstrated early leadership, academic promise, or clinical innovation.

$200 USD

Conferment fee covers:

  • Official WSO Prodigy Fellowship Certificate
  • WSO Sash and Prodigy Fellow (PWSO) Lapel Pin
  • WSO Sash and Prodigy Fellow (PWSO) Lapel Pin
  • Fast-track eligibility toward full Fellowship status as prodigy career advances

Payment and Banking Information

Payment shall only be done after the applicant received the Letter of Acceptance of Fellow, followed by an Official Invoice issued by WSO Secretariat. Payment and Banking Information shall be stated in the Official Invoice.
Please ensure to state the applicant’s full name and fellowship category (e.g., Fellow / Prodigy Fellow) in the bank transfer reference. A screenshot or receipt of the transaction must be submitted to the WSO Secretariat for confirmation and processing.

Kindly Note

  • Prodigy Fellow and WSO Fellow can be obtained by nomination or application, subject to approval by the WSO Credential Committee.
  • High Achiever Fellow, Master Fellow, and Lifetime Achievement Fellow are strictly awarded by invitation of the WSO Global Council & Credential Committee based on distinguished merit and are not open for application without nomination.
  • Fellowship fees shall only be made once the application has been approved.
  • Fees are non-refundable upon initiation of the induction process.
  • All Fellowship titles are to be conferred through official WSO International Conferment Ceremonies, either in-person or virtually (with a one-year in-person induction requirement post virtual conferment).
